It feels like mathematics has its own language sometimes – because it does!

Qed – an initialism of the Latin phrase ‘quod erat demonstrandum’, meaning “which was to be demonstrated”.
Quadrangle – a four-sided polygon, having four edges and four corners.
Quadrant – the area contained by the x and y axes.
Quadrilateral – a four-sided polygon, having four edges and four corners.
Quadrillion – a number equal to 1 followed by 15 zeros.
Quantity – an amount, number, or measurement.
Quantum – the Latin word for amount.
Quart – a unit of dry capacity equivalent to approximately 1.10 liters.
Quarter – any one of the four equal parts a whole is divided into.
Quaternary – fourth in order or rank; belonging to the fourth order.
Quintillion – a thousand raised to the power of six (1018).
Quota – A quaternary numeral system is base-4.
Quotient – a result obtained by dividing one quantity by another.
