Beast – an animal, especially a large or dangerous four-footed one.

Bogeyman – a person or thing that is widely regarded as an object of fear.
Bone – any of the pieces of hard whitish tissue making up the skeleton in humans and other vertebrates.
Bone-Chilling – intensely cold bone-chilling weather also : penetrating, disturbing, or intense in emotional or physical effect bone-chilling drama a bone-chilling wind.
Bonfire – a large open-air fire used for burning rubbish or as part of a celebration.
Boo – said suddenly to surprise someone who is unaware of one’s presence.
Brains – an organ of soft nervous tissue contained in the skull of vertebrates, functioning as the coordinating center of sensation and intellectual and nervous activity.
Brew – make (beer) by soaking, boiling, and fermentation.
Brimstone – fire and brimstone are the supposed torments of hell.
Broom – a long-handled brush of bristles or twigs, used for sweeping.
Broomstick – a brush with twigs at one end and a long handle, on which, in children’s literature, witches are said to fly.
Bubbling – (of a liquid) form rising bubbles of gas or air.
What Makes a Good Halloween-Inspired Word?
A good Halloween word should be:
- evocative of the season
- spooky, creepy, or eerie
- related to darkness, or the supernatural
- used to describe Halloween
Basically, just about any word that’s spooky will do!
