Occult – mystical, supernatural, or magical powers, practices, or phenomena.
Occurrences – an incident or event.
October – the tenth month of the year, in the northern hemisphere usually considered the second month of autumn.
October 31st – the date of Halloween.
Ogre – (in folklore) a man-eating giant.
Ominous – giving the worrying impression that something bad is going to happen; threateningly inauspicious.
Orange – relating to the Orange Order and the color of pumpkins.
Otherworldly – relating to an imaginary or spiritual world.
Outfit – a set of clothes worn together, especially for a particular occasion or purpose.
Owl – a nocturnal bird of prey with large eyes, a facial disc, a hooked beak, and typically a loud hooting call.
What Kinds of Words Are Good for Halloween?
When it comes to Halloween words, there is some room for being creative!
As long as the words you choose are related to the holiday in some way or are just spooky or creepy, you should be good to go!
Obviously, images of pumpkins come to mind and trick-or-treaters dressed in witch’s hats and other monstrous masks.
You can also get really creative with words that describe the feeling of Halloween, like “eerie” or “spooky.”
Or if Halloween feels fun and festive to you, go with that. It’s really up to you.

Halloween is a great time to get together with friends and family and celebrate.
It’s also a perfect opportunity to get creative, whether that means coming up with the perfect costume or crafting the perfect Jack-o’-lantern.
