What Makes a Word Good for Halloween?
In my opinion, a good Halloween word should be spooky, creepy, or have a dark and mysterious vibe to it.
It should also be evocative of the season, bringing to mind images of pumpkins, haunted houses, bats, and ghosts.
I’m sure you’ve seen all of these things on the files in shops and all around your neighborhood during the Halloween period.
There is more to it than just those visuals though, anything to do with creepy films, music, etc can all be used.
For example, if you’re a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, then Freddy Krueger is an obvious choice.
It’s not a Halloween movie like the Halloween series, but suits the bill as being scary – and I’ve seen more than a few people dressed as Freddy at Halloween parties!
