What Makes a Good Leader?
There are loads of different leadership styles and some work better than others in certain situations.
If you’re in a leadership position, the key is to be aware of your own style and how it might need to change to suit the situation.
I always like looking at some of the most famous and accomplished leaders throughout history, such as Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and my personal favorite Abraham Lincoln.
What made them so successful?
I think there are a few key things:
- They had a clear vision that they believed in 100%
- They communicated their vision effectively to everyone and anyone
- They were able to inspire others to follow them through their actions
- They made tough decisions when they needed to and stood by them
- They were always learning and growing
If you can do these things and you’re adaptable, then you’re on your way to being a great leader!
