Signs You’ve Experienced Gaslighting
Now you’re more aware of the signs you’re being actively gaslit, it’s also important to know what the signs that you’ve been gaslit for a while look like.
Some typical signs that you’ve been the victim of this form of abuse are:
- You’re constantly questioning your reality and thoughts
- You have difficulty making decisions and trusting yourself
- You feel helpless, hopeless, and overwhelmed
- Your self-esteem and confidence have taken a dive
- You’re always apologizing for things that aren’t your fault
These signs are really sad to see in someone as it means they are a shadow of their former self and their mental health has taken a beating.

What to Do if You’re Being Gaslit
