Readers of this blog know how much I love good quotes. Especially those by people with a proven history of motivating and helping others.
If you are not aware of who Tony Robbins is, he is one of the world’s most decorated motivational speakers, a best-selling author, and a true leader who has worked with many of the world’s most influential people.
That barely does justice to his achievements, but for me, it’s always been Tony’s quotes that have hit home – and changed my life for the better.
Here are a collection of Tony’s best quotes.
20 Tony Robbins Quotes to Motivate and Inspire You
No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow your PROGRESS, you’re still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying.
The keyword here is progress, keep making progress no matter how small the pieces are. You will get there, and you are getting further than those who aren’t progressing.
SUCCESS is doing what you want, when you want, where you want, with whom you want, as much as you want.
This defines success pretty well for me. The freedom to do what you want, when you want. How many of us are this fortunate?
QUALITY questions create a quality life. Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers.
This is worth thinking about. Are you asking all the right questions to get the answers you want?
Some of the biggest challenges in relationships come from the fact that most people enter a relationship in order to get something: they’re trying to find someone who’s going to make them feel good. In reality, the only way a relationship will last is if you see your relationship as place to GIVE, and not a place that you go to take.
I love this one. Relationships are about giving. The more you give, the more you will receive. The happier both parties in the relationship will be.
At Any moment, the decision you make can CHANGE the course of your life forever.
Don’t take any decisions lightly. Every move, decision, and little thing you do has an impact on your life.
The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body. The more efficient your body, the BETTER you FEEL and the more you will use your talent to produce OUTSTANDING results.
Health is wealth. Look after your body and health and the rest will follow. If you don’t respect yourself enough to stay healthy, how can you find success in other areas of your life?
Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start getting EXCITED about what could go RIGHT.
Be positive and positive things will follow. Stop worrying about what might go wrong, because it may never go wrong anyway.
If you want to be SUCCESSFUL, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you’ll achieve the same results.
You will not go far wrong following people who are highly successful. Remember to still be yourself, and I’m sure you will find success.
Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in life.
This is something I practice. When I have my mindset on something I keep on track and focused 100%.
In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our CONSISTENT ACTIONS. It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.
Another quote about being consistent. It rings true too, if you’re not consistent how are you going to achieve consistent results. Brief, fluctuating results are not going to give you the stability you need.
One reason so few of us ACHIEVE what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.
What are you trying to master right now? Oh, you’re just thinking about it and haven’t started yet. Read this quote again, start mastering what you are passionate about today, or you will never achieve it.
Identify your problems, but give your POWER and energy to solutions.
Identifying the problem is only half the task. Finding and implementing the solution is the other half.
Your past does NOT equal your FUTURE.
This is another quote that really resonated with me the first time I heard it. I always look to the future, what’s happened in the past is the past.
Leaders spend 5% of their time on the problem & 95% of their time on the solution. Get over it & crush it!
This ties in with the previous quote. In my experience this has always been true; work on the solution to a problem and move forward.
Deciding to COMMIT yourself to long-term results, rather than short-term fixes, is as important as any decision you’ll make in your lifetime.
I know this to be true from experience, as I’m sure many of you reading this do. Get those long-term goals written down and in place.
The path to success is to take MASSIVE, DETERMINED ACTION.
There is a bit of a reoccurring theme with it comes to taking determined action. But it’s a point worth reinforcing, action yields results.
The more rules you have about how people have to be, how life has to be for you to be happy, the less happy you’re going to be.
It is in your moments of DECISION that your destiny is shaped.
Another quote about making decisions. From a man who knows all too well the impact of making good decisions. If you are risk-averse or find it hard to make decisions, that’s an area to work on.
DEMAND more from yourself than anyone else could ever expect.
I like Tony Robbins’ deliberate use of the word demand here. It really gets me fired up and makes me think that I should settle for nothing less than more than others expect.
If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.
If you are not happy with where you are right now, you need to make a change. If your efforts are only doing so much, increase your effort to increase the results. Simple, yet sound advice.
I hope these Tony Robbins quotes bring a little sunshine and motivation to your day.
If this is the first time you have heard of Tony Robbins, I’ve just enriched your life if nothing else.
It’s up to you what you take from them and what action you take. But if there is only one thing you should have learned- take action sooner rather than later. Like now.
